VTB Bank (Armenia) finances TelCell CJSC

YEREVAN, January 1. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) and Telcell CJSC have been cooperating for over 10 years in the framework of servicing settlement and cash transactions. In 2020, they began to cooperate also in the framework of credit and documentary operations, the press service of the bank reported.

According to the bank, the expanded cooperation with VTB Bank (Armenia) will allow Telcell CJSC to implement development plans: to advance the development of e-commerce and the use of electronic money, to expand the terminal network and payment acceptance points, to improve technical equipment and software, making the process of payments and money transfers as convenient and affordable as possible.

Today Telcell is the largest system in Armenia’s market of  instant payments. The system is constantly expanding, offering various innovative services. Telcell terminal network serves over 3,500 terminals in all regions of Armenia. Telcell Wallet is actively used by more than 200 thousand users. Currently, the company accepts payments for 450 different services.

Thanks to the services of Telcell CJSC, in 2012 VTB Bank (Armenia) switched to customer self-service, providing them with the opportunity to quickly and conveniently make various payments and transfers, replenish card and bank accounts, deposits, repay loans and make repayments ahead of schedule.

Together with Telcell, the Bank has also launched a remote service, enabling  customers to receive fast money transfers to their bank’s cards. To do this, the client needs to select “Receive money transfer” on the Telcell payment terminal in the section of VTB Bank (Armenia) and fill in the necessary data: card number to which the money transfer will be credited, money transfer code, the currency and the amount of transfer, the preferred currency and the  mobile phone number.

The credit products and financial instruments provided by the Bank are aimed at solving various problems of entrepreneurs at different stages of business development. Loan products are provided for the purpose of financing trade transactions, short-term investments, replenishment of fixed and circulating assets, and covering  customers’ accounts payable.

For each client, VTB Bank (Armenia) applies an individual flexible approach, taking into account the specifics of the type of their business activity.

The bank is controlled by the Central Bank of Armenia.
