According to the rationale for the decision, the $3 million grant agreement (with co-financing from the Armenian government in the amount of another $3 million) will result in the reconstruction of the Voskehat village secondary school in the Armavir region, the development of a guidebook for the preservation of the school building, retraining of administrative staff of 56 schools on the application of this guidebook, a study tour to Japan to gain knowledge in the field of seismic disaster management, engineering and sustainable urban development, as well as the development and implementation of programs to raise awareness of seismic risks and response measures for 200,000 students aged 10 to 19.

Also, by the government decree, the Territorial Development Fund of Armenia was allocated 19.8 million drams to finance the design and estimate work for the reconstruction of the secondary school in the village of Voskehat.
