Made in Armenia: Agata’s products selling already abroad (video)

YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. Along with new up to date equipment, Soviet-made machinery and equipment received a second life. Two generations of machines – new and old – work side by side with updated features.

The Agata sewing factory  started with one sewing machine. Over the years, a new production was created on the dilapidated factory site, while the number of employees has grown from 4 to 40 people.

The sewing factory has been producing polyethylene fiber, filler, Armenian linen and bedding for ten years. In production, the international experience is also used and there is an exchange of experience with invited designers.

The sewing factory’s production partner is ACBA Leasing, with the support of which modern equipment was purchased, having raised production to a qualitatively new level.

“I didn’t have the opportunity to buy new equipment with new technology for my business, but in cooperation with ACBA Leasing we purchased it. Personally, I consider ACBA Leasing to be a partner, no matter why we apply to it; they always help us. We have been cooperating  to this day,” said Yerem Grigoryan, the founding director of the Agata sewing factory.
