Central bank leaves key rate unchanged at 9.25%

YEREVAN, May 3. /ARKA/.  The governing board of Armenia’s Central Bank has decided today to leave  the refinancing rate unchanged at 9.25%.

According to the regulator’s press service, the Lombard repo rate has not been changed either. It is now 10.75%. The funds attraction rate is  7.75%.

The Central Bank raised the refinancing rate on March 15  by 1.25 p.p. to 9.25% citing  uncertainty and risks for the country’s economy stemming from Western sanctions imposed against Russia over the war in Ukraine.. –0–
