YEREVAN, January 24. /ARKA/. Armenia’s share in the Eurasian Economic Union’s (EEU) overall trade increased from 1.2% to 2.9% in the first 11 months of 2022, according to the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).
The share of Kyrgyzstan increased from 1.1% to 1.8% and that of Kazakhstan from 10.7% to 11.6%.
Russian imports from the EEU member countries increased by an estimated 31.2% y/y.
Overall, the mutual trade of EEU member states increased by 12.9% yoy in the first 11 months of 2022 to $74.6bn.
According to EDB analysts, the volume of EEU mutual trade in 2022 is estimated to be $82-84 billion (an increase of about 13% yoy). In 2023 it could reach $87-95 billion. –0–
