YEREVAN, October 31. /ARKA/. Foreign institutional investors are interested in Armenian government bonds, Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said at parliamentary hearings on the draft state budget for 2024.
“I don’t agree that there is a demand for government bonds because of the liquidity surplus. Yes, we have a liquidity surplus, but the fact that foreign institutional investors are interested in our bonds shows that indeed our country and securities are very attractive,” he said.
The minister specified that this process is accompanied by the improvement of Armenia’s position in international ratings. -0-
