Market capitalization in October increased by 3.14% YoY to 270 billion drams –  Armenian Securities Exchange

YEREVAN, November 6. /ARKA/.  The insights of October at Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX) have shown a surge of market and trade values of securities. 

Government bonds 

On the primary auction platform of AMX the allocation volume of government bonds has reached 65.1 billion AMD, which exceed the results of the same period of previous year by 43.2%. 

The trade value of government bonds in October reached 13.5 billion AMD, surpassing the results of the same period in the previous year by 104%. A total of 62 trades have been concluded with treasury government bonds, exceeding the same figure from the previous year by 13%. 

Corporate bonds 

Corporate bonds show the same dynamic growth, both in market value and trade value of securities, compared to the indices of the same period last year. Market value of corporate bonds in October exceeded the results of the same period of previous year by 7.3% reaching more than 444 billion AMD. 

Trade value in October 2023 reached more than 5.8 billion AMD with 370 trades concluded.

The number of corporate bonds traded at AMX reached 98. 

REPO 

Number of REPO agreements has been more than 3.4 billion AMD, which exceeded the results of the same period of previous year by 80%. In October total number of trades was 38.

Equity 

Trade value of equity reached more than 70 million AMD and the market capitalization exceeded almost 270 billion AMD, surpassing the same figure from the previous year by 3.14%, with 136 trades concluded.  ($1 – 402.22 drams) -0-
