Cyberpolice warns of new investment fraud in Armenia

YEREVAN, December 10. /ARКА/. The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Cyberpolice has reported the spread of yet another investment fraud.

“A new ponzi scheme is spreading, this time called djialgeriai, which offers investments in the drone industry. This scheme is similar in style to the CityBike project, which has already collapsed in Armenia,” the statement noted.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reiterated that “income generated on such platforms is not generated by actual entrepreneurial activity, but by investments from people you invited to the platform as referrals, and it is they who actually pay your ‘income,'” urging people to refrain from investing on such platforms.-0-
