Unibank Launches Fee-Free Online Payroll Card Issuance

YEREVAN, May 18. /ARKA/. Unibank has introduced the option of remotely applying for Arca Classic payroll cards free of charge. Clients no longer need to visit bank branches — the card can now be ordered online via the Unibank website or through a QR code provided to partner companies. The new service allows users to complete the entire application process in just a few minutes, at a convenient time and from any location.

To apply for a payroll card, users need to follow the link on the bank’s website, click the “Order a Card” button, and complete a short identification process. Applicants must have an identity document — either a passport or ID card — and complete biometric identification by following the on-screen instructions. Once the information is verified, the application for card issuance can be submitted immediately. The card will be delivered free of charge either to the selected bank branch or to another specified address.

The launch of online payroll card issuance marks another step by Unibank toward the development of digital services and increasing the accessibility of banking services for clients. Arca cards allow cardholders to receive 2% cashback on cashless transactions. The minimum transaction amount eligible for cashback is AMD 1,000. The maximum cashback amount per transaction is AMD 6,000, while the maximum monthly cashback amount is AMD 60,000. Holders of Unibank Arca Classic payroll cards are eligible for a credit line of up to 15 monthly salaries, access to a mobile banking application, SMS notifications, and 24/7 customer support. In addition, payroll cardholders receive coupons for the free issuance of up to three multicurrency cards for family members.
