Armenian banks’ loan portfolio exceeded AMD 8.56 trillion in the second quarter, representing a 23.56% year-on-year increase

YEREVAN, July 27. /ARKA/. The total loan portfolio of Armenian banks as of June 30, 2026, exceeded AMD 8.56 trillion, representing a 23.56% increase compared to June 30, 2025, and a 6.8% increase compared to March 31, 2026.

According to ARKA’s ranking, Ameriabank retained its leading position among Armenian banks by loan portfolio at the end of the second quarter of 2026. Its loan portfolio exceeded AMD 1.95 trillion (annual growth of 33.59%, quarterly growth of 10.93%).

Ardshinbank ranks second with a loan portfolio of over 1.66 trillion drams (a 27.36% year-over-year increase and a 7.39% quarterly increase).

Akba Bank ranks third with a loan portfolio of 810.7 billion drams (a 19.53% increase compared to June last year and a 7.33% increase compared to March this year).

Inecobank ranks fourth with 591.4 billion drams (a 25.61% year-over-year increase and a 10.14% quarterly increase).

Amio Bank rounds out the top five with 547.9 billion drams (a 2.05% year-over-year increase and a 2.82% quarterly decline).
