YEREVAN, February 12. / ARKA /. The financial market of Armenia should develop, head of the arrived delegation of the International Monetary Fund Mark Lewis said the in an interview with Capital daily.

“This also applies to the exchange, and the corporate bond market, and even the government securities market, and, of course, banks and loans offered by them,” he said.

The combined loan portfolio of 17 Armenia-based commercial banks upped  by 6.11% in Q2 2025 compared to Q1 2025, amounting to AMD 6.82 trillion, according to a ranking compiled by  the ARKA news agency.
