IMF: Armenia to reach 1.8% economic growth in 2010

YEREVAN, April 9. /ARKA/. On Friday, Guillermo Tolosa, IMF resident representative in Armenia, answering the question ARKA News Agency put to him at a news conference, said Armenia would have 1.8% economic growth in 2010.

This is the IMF’s latest outlook, he said, and a new forecast will be made in May.

Earlier, Mark Lewis, head of IMF mission in Armenia, said economic growth in Armenia would reach about 2% in 2010.
In the 2010 state budget, 1.2% economic growth is planned. –0–
