Inflation in q1, 2010 rises to 8.4% year-on-year

YEREVAN, April 20, /ARKA/. The inflation rate in Armenia in Q1, 2010 rose to 8.4% from the first quarter of 2009, the National Statistical Service reported.

According to official figures, in the first quarter the consumer price index rose by 2.9% from 2009 December.

The government has projected a 4% (±1,5%) inflation rate for 2010. -0-
