Armenian government to pay fine for delaying overpaid taxes return

YEREVAN, April 26. /ARKA/. Armenian National Assembly passed amendments to the tax law on Monday.

The amendments imply sanctions for longer-than-90-day delay of overpaid tax return to taxpayers.

Suren Karayan, deputy finance minister, said the government would pay fine equal to banking interest rate set by the Central Bank of Armenia for each day of delay.

This rule doesn’t apply to land and property taxes. -0-
