Armenian development bank lowers prices for serving Mastercard plastic cards for new cardholders

YEREVAN, June 28. /ARKA/. On Friday, Armenian Development Bank lowered prices for serving MasterCard plastic cards for new cardholders.

This move came as part of MasterCard international payment system’s campaign.

The bank’s press office told ARKA News Agency that clients would be able to receive MasterCard Gold, MasterCard Standard and Cirrus Maestro cards until July 15 on preferential conditions and enjoy annual discounts.

The campaign implies AMD 25,000 annual price for serving MasterCard Gold instead of former AMD 35,000, AMD 6,000 for MasterCard Standard instead of former AMD 8,000 and AMD 3,000 for Cirrus Maestro instead of AMD 5,000.

Armenian Development Bank was established in 1990 and re-registered in 1993. Before that, the bank’s name was the Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

According to ARKA News Agency’s data, Armenian Development Bank’s assets totaled AMD 23.5 billion and liabilities AMD 17.1 billion by late march, 2010.

Its total capital amounted to AMD 6.4 billion, credit portfolio AMD 13.6 billon, liabilities to clients AMD 12.8 billion and its net profit for the first quarter AMD 262.7 million.
