NASDAQ OMX Armenia announces “Let’s Develop Armenia Capital Market” Students’ Essay Contest

YEREVAN, October 27, /ARKA/.Appreciating significant role of young specialists in the development of Armenian capital market, NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange has announced “Let’s Develop Armenia Capital Market” Students’ Essay Contest.

Call for papers starts on November 1, 2010 and will last until December 30, 2010. All the final year students of economic, law and other related faculties of all higher educational institutions, having Armenian state accreditation, are invited to participate in the Contest.

In their essays contestants should answer one of the following questions: Which are main obstacles of Armenian capital market developments and how to overcome them? What should market participants do in order to develop Armenian capital market? What policy should regulators conduct in order to develop Armenian capital market? How public interest in Armenian capital market can be raised? Which new instruments can be introduced in Armenian capital market?

In January, 2011 all the essays will be assessed by the Group of specialists of NASDAQ OMX Armenia and the best essays will be published on NASDAQ OMX Armenia official web-site, while the authors of the best 3 essays will be invited to Award ceremony, where the winner will be announced.

Contest prizes include a financial reward, certificate by NASDAQ OMX Armenia, as well as an invitation to Best Member Award ceremony, where authors of the best essays will have a chance to meet in person and establish relations with Armenian capital market participants.  -0-
