Araratbank to open 35-th branch

YEREVAN, December 14, /ARKA/. Armenian Araratbank said it will open soon a new, 35-th Komitas branch in Arabkir district of Yerevan. The bank said in a press release it had opened a branch December 8 in the town of Masis in Ararat province. The Masis branch is furnished with modern equipment and technology and has a comfortable customer service hall.

The bank said the skilled personnel will help customers open bank accounts, make money transfers through ten international remittance systems, get loans for small and medium businesses, car purchase, repair of homes and so on.

Araratbank, previously called Haykap Bank, was founded in 1991 and provides a full range of banking services to corporate, MSME and retail customers. The bank has established a reputation as a small but reliable and dynamically growing financial institution. EBRD holds 25% in Araratbank. The rest is held by Barsegh Beglarian, head of the biggest petrol importing company Flash. It joined NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange in 2009 January. M.M. -0-

The combined loan portfolio of 17 Armenia-based commercial banks upped  by 6.11% in Q2 2025 compared to Q1 2025, amounting to AMD 6.82 trillion, according to a ranking compiled by  the ARKA news agency.
