Armenia’s Central Bank places 500 million drams short-term government bonds

YEREVAN, February 28, /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank said today it has placed 500 million Drams worth short-term government (treasury) bonds of AMGT13305113 series with a 13- week maturity period.

The Central Bank said in a press release that 1.6 billion Drams worth bids had been made, including 4.5 million Drams non-competitive bids made by dealers and 50 million Drams non-competitive bids made by the Treasury. It said five dealers took part in the auction. Te average weighted yield on a bond was 7.3%, the cutoff point was 8%. ($1 – 366.6 Drams). -0-
