Converse Bank to issue special cards for women

YEREVAN, March 4. /ARKA/. Converse Bank will start issuing Master Card WOMAN`S CARD on the occasion on women’s holidays, the bank’s press office reported on Friday.

This is the first bank in Armenia to issue special cards for women.

This card provides special privileges to women. Cardholders will enjoy special discounts in more than 160 trade outlets, beauty salons as well as medical and spa centers.

These cards will be provided to women in Armenian drams, U.S. dollars and euros.

A woman can apply for a debit or credit card.

Besides, cardholders can use Internet banking service for free.

“Service fee doesn’t differ from usual fee for serving Master Card, and encashment will be carried out for nothing in ATMs and the bank’s encashment points.”

According to the press release, Converse Bank introduced a system of discounts ranging from 2% to 30% for ARCA, VISA and MASTER CARD holders in 2010.

Holders of VISA CLASSIC, VISA GOLD и VISA PLATINUM cards enjoy discounts as well.

They will have up to 75% discounts in 50,000 hotels in 130 countries.

Converse Bank was established in 1993.

Advanced Global Investments LLC (Argentina) holds 95% of the bank’s shares, and the remaining 5% belong to Armenian Apostolic Church.

The Converse Bank has 25 branches with more than 600 employees in 13 cities in Armenia. -0-
