China to provide Armenia with $2 million humanitarian assistance

YEREVAN,  April  7, / ARKA /. China will provide Armenia with a 40 million Yuan ($2 million) humanitarian assistance,  a deputy Armenian foreign affairs minister, Shavarsh Kocharian, said today during a recurrent Cabinet session.

He said an agreement to  that end will be signed in Yerevan on April 12 when a delegation led by Li Changchun, a member of China’s top leadership, will pay an official good-will visits to Armenia. Li is  a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. The Armenian Cabinet approved today signing of a technical cooperation agreement with China. -0-
