Interest rates on long-term deposits reduce in February

YEREVAN, April 12, /ARKA/. Interest rates for long-term corporate and individual deposits (for more than 12 months) reduced in February by 0.6% and 0.1% respectively from January , according to a Central Bank of Armenia report on aggregated money and credit indicators.

According to the report, the interest rate for individual deposits in the national currency Dram did not change remaining at 11.5% while the interest rates for deposits in foreign currency dropped by 0.2% to 8.2%

The interest rates for corporate deposits in Drams fell by 0.2% to 10.2% and those in foreign currency fell by 1 p.p. to 7.4%. -0-
