Central bank of Armenia auctions 480 million drams worth short-term government (treasury) bonds

YEREVAN, May 2. / ARKA /. The Central Bank of Armenia said today it had placed 480 million drams worth short-term government (treasury) bonds of AMGT 52304126 series with a 52-week maturity period . The Central Bank said a total of 830 million drams worth bids had been made, all competitive.

Four dealers were said to have taken part in the auction. The yield on a bond was 10.4561%, the cutoff point was 11.0000%. Earlier the Central Bank said it would auction 1.5 billion drams worth bonds. ($1 – 370,27 drams).  -0-
