Internet banking available to Areximbank-Gazprombank Group clients via mobile telephones

YEREVAN, May 13, /ARKA/. Russian-owned Areximbank-Gazprombank Group said today it has expanded the range of services to its clients provided through Internet banking.

It said from now on the clients can manage their accounts from any corner of the word not only through computers but also via cell phones given they are connected to Internet. The service is available at //ic.ebank.areximbank.am/InternetBank/Mobile/.

Areximbank-Gazprombank introduced Internet banking in 2009 November providing its customers with opportunity to execute a wide range of transactions and payments.

Areximbank-Gazprombank Group (formerly Areximbank) was established in 1998 to handle financial flows between Armenia and Russia. It is a principled member of VISA International and MasterCard International payment systems. In 2007 it joined Armenian ArCa payment system. The bank is owned fully by Russian Gazprombank and has 6 branches in Yerevan and 9 in regions. In 2010 it handled $20 million worth remittances. -0-
