Over $85.1 million bought by Armenian banks between august 2 and 6

YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. Armenia’s banks bought more than $85.1 million at intra-banking forex over the period between August 2 and 6 at 364.89 Armenian drams per one dollar, the press office of the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.

About $96.7 million was sold here at AMD 365.48 per dollar over the mentioned period of time.

Dram-dollar exchange transactions totaled $11.45 million at this period. The dollar traded at AMD 366.24, on average.

Dollar-dram exchange deals totaling $1.8 million were effected at inter-banking forex over the same period at AMD 365.37 per dollar average exchange rate.

Armenian banks lent AMD 28.4 billion and $70.5 million between July 25 and 31. ($1 = AMD 367.34).  –0-
