Armenian Central Bank said its net internal assets grow by 5.3 percent in 2011 August

YEREVAN, October 3. / ARKA /. Armenian Central Bank said its net internal assets in 2011 August amounted to some 107.5 billion drams, having increased by 5.3% in comparison with July.

According to the regulator’s report on its aggregated indicators, its obligations to the government decreased by 1.6% and amounted to minus 100.1 billion drams; its obligations to commercial banks increased by 3.5% at the end of August to 92.3 billion drams; other obligations grew by 0.6% amounting to more than 115.3 billion drams.

According to the report, Armenia’s net international reserves in August amounted to about 475.9 billion drams, having increased by 11.1% in comparison with July, while the monetary base amounted to about 583.4 billion drams, having increased by 9.9% from July ($1-372,05 AMD). -0-
