Bank VTB (Armenia), cosmopolitan Armenia and Visa issue co-branded card for women

YEREVAN, November 3. / ARKA /. Russian-owned Bank VTB Armenia), together with Cosmopolitan Armenia magazine and Visa has announced a new co-branded plastic card designed specially for women, called Visa VTB Cosmopolitan. The new card gives access to a range of discounts and special offers from the best merchants in Armenia, including boutiques, beauty salons, spas and health centers.

“In collaboration with Cosmopolitan Armenia and Visa we have created a unique, beautiful and successful product and we hope that our customers will be using it with pleasure”, Bank VTB (Armenia) CEO, Valery Ovsyannikov told the reporters today .

He said the new cards signify a new approach at the local market in the creation, positioning and promotion of banking products for specific target segments.

Irina Kamkhadze, Visa bbusiness development manager in Armenia, Georgia and Moldova, said the market has reached a level of development, when consumers need not just a convenient means of payment, but expect to get a universal product with an additional set of characteristics.

Cosmopolitan Armenia chief editor Hrachui Utmazyan said the card corresponds to the dynamic lifestyle of Armenian women.

Co-branded cards make easy payments for purchases and services in more than 200 countries, offer a 50% discount in sales and service outlets in Armenia, specializing in products and services for women, free annual subscription to the magazine Cosmopolitan Armenia and invitations to special events. Credit lines with extended lending period are also available to owners of co-brand cards as well as a unique insurance against loss of women’s handbags. -0-
