5.7% year-on-year inflation recorded in Armenia in October 2011

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. National Statistical Service of Armenia says 5.7% year-on-year inflation was recorded in Armenia in October 2011.

Prices in the country went 0.3% up in October, compared with September.

According to the statistical report, economic activity rose 2.4% in October 2011, compared with the same month a year earlier, but fell 18%, compared with the previous month.

In the 2011 government budget, inflation is projected at 4% (±1.5%) and GDP growth at 4.6%. -0-
