WB Yerevan office announces essay competition for students of Armenian universities

YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. World Bank’s Yerevan Office announces an essay competition for students of Armenian universities, the press service of the WB Yerevan Office reported on Monday.

Essays should be written on the theme “Armenian Village in the 21st Century: the Policy of Improvement of Living Standards in Rural Communities”.

The press office says the aim of the competition is to enhance awareness and to organize discussions over the country’s challenges.

The competition will also contribute to preparation of the WB report on the policy of development of agriculture and villages in Armenia.

Deadline for submission of applications is January 20, 2012. Winners will be named on March 1. -0—
