Average interest rate on deposits in Armenia’s banks rises 0.3 percentage points to 8.4%

YEREVAN, January 18. /ARKA/. Average interest rate on deposits in Armenia’s banks rose 0.3 percentage points in November, compared with October, to 8.4%, the Central Bank of Armenia says in its monthly report.
 
Average interest rate on short-term deposits in drams went 0.45 points up in November, compared with October, to 9.5%, while that of short-term deposits in foreign currencies went 0.75 points down to 5.75%.
 
The average interest rate on long-term dram deposits rose 0.15 points to 10.45% and on deposits in foreign currencies 1.15 points to 7.8%. ($1- AMD 388.82).–0–
