Average interest rate on legal entities’ deposits in Armenia rises 0.6 percentage points in Dec 2011

YEREVAN, January 20. /ARKA/. Average interest rate on legal entities’ deposits in Armenia rose 0.6 percentage points up in December 2011, compared with November, to 8.3%.
According to the central bank’s report available on its official website, average interest rate on legal entities’ long-term deposits in drams went 0.4 points up to 9.8%, and interest rate on their short-term dram deposits climbed one point to 9.9%.
Average interest rate on legal entities’ in foreign currencies shed 0.2 points to 7.6% and interest rate on their short-term deposits in foreign currencies rose 1.1 points to 6%. ($1- AMD 387.67).-0—-
