Prices for precious metals dropped

YEREVAN, March 12. /ARKA/. Agency “State depository of precious stones and metals” of Armenian Ministry of Finance defined prices for precious metals for the period of March October 12-18, 2012.

The following prices are defined for state purchase and selling prices of one gram of chemically pure metal (for standard bar): gold – buying price – 19479.52 drams (-661.92), selling price – 21173.39 drams (-719.48); silver – buying price – 388.73 drams (-20.26), selling price – 422.53 drams
(-22.02); platinum – buying price – 18934.44 (-695.32), selling price – 20580.91 drams (-755.79); palladium – buying price – 7953.90 drams (-222.19), selling price – 8645.54 drams (-241.51). ($1-389.79 drams). –0-

The combined loan portfolio of 17 Armenia-based commercial banks upped  by 6.11% in Q2 2025 compared to Q1 2025, amounting to AMD 6.82 trillion, according to a ranking compiled by  the ARKA news agency.

Armenia is in discussions on new Stand-By Arrangement with  IMF

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan engaged in talks on Tuesday on the execution of the measures outlined in the IMF's three-year Stand-By Agreement (SBA) with Alexander Timan, the Head of the IMF Armenia Mission, and Umang Ravat, the IMF's Permanent Representative to Armenia.
