Armenia’s monetary base shrinks 1.6% over March to AMD 553.8 billion

YEREVAN, May 2. /ARKA/. Armenia’s monetary base shrank 1.6% or by AMD 9.2 billion in March, compared with February, to more than AMD 553.8 billion, National Statistical Service reports.

Mandatory reserves in drams exceeded AMD 152.8 billion in late March against 152.2 billion in late February, and those in foreign currencies totaled over AMD 31.9 billion against AMD 43.8 billion.
Net international reserves less funds from privatization amounted to AMD 365.4 billion in late March after contracting by 4.7% over the month.

Net internal assets totaled AMD 188.3 billion against AMD 180 billion. ($1 – AMD 392.16).-0–
