YEREVAN, October 12. /ARKA/. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group said Friday it had organized an excursion for children of its employees.
According to the source, the children were invited to the bank to get familiar with the place their parents work at, and watch the working process.
The event organizer is advisor to Public affairs director general Yelena Markova. According to her, the goal of the excursion was solely professionally oriented.
“Children often ask what they must be able to do to work at our bank. By this excursion we tried to give an answer. This is not the first excursion which is organized by the bank for its staff’s kids,” she commented.
Last time the children got introduced with how operation hall and cashbox department work. This time they got familiar with plastic card management.
Markova noted that the bank workers informed the children which cards are issued by the bank, what their advantages are over cash. They also showed the structure of ATMs, and the process of cash withdrawal.
“The children got very interested in plastic card production. They also had an opportunity to produce card samples for themselves,” she said.
The children also visited the office room of the bank’s CEO, sit in front of his table, and imagined as if they were a bank chairman at least for a couple of minutes, Markova added speaking about the most memorable part of the excursion.
Following the excursion, the children got assignment to write at home an essay on their experience at the bank, and proposals.
The writers of the best essays will get prizes, of course, and their proposals will be considered :and maybe these children will be responsible for developing our bank in the future, she pointed out.
Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJSC (former Areximbank, renamed on June 12, 2009) was established in August 1998 for supporting entrepreneurship and serving financial flows between Russia and Armenia. Russia’s Gazprombank has been the sole owner of the bank since 2007.
