Nearly $76,000 stolen from Armenia’s ATMs in two impudent malefactions

YEREVAN, November 26. /ARKA/. Nearly 76,000 dollars was stolen from ATMs in Armenia’s Shirak region early on Monday as a result of the two  impudent malefactions.

The signal on the crime was sent to Gyumri Police Department at 10:00 AM on Monday.
Executive of Gyumri Araratbank branch said some unknown robbers stole 29 million drams (nearly 71,376 dollars) while breaking the ATM located on Ryjkov street in Gyumri by technical tools.
A criminal case is opened.

Nearly two hours later, the Police got a signal on another robbery in Akhuryan village (not far from Gyumri). This time malefactors stole 1 million 854 thousand drams ( nearly $4,563) from Ardshininvestbank ATM. Robbery cases were reported from 18:00 November 23 to 11:00 November 26, Ardshininvestbank branch manager said.

The ATM in Akhuryan was also broken by some technical tools.

Armenia to Receive €120 Million Loan and €15 Million Grant from KfW Bank for Power Grid Connection with Georgia
