Retained earnings of Armenian banks in 10 months grew to 34.1 billion drams

YEREVAN, October 5. / ARKA /. Retained earnings of 21 commercial Armenia-based banks in the first 10 months of 2012 grew by 34.5 percent when compared to the same period in 2011 to 34.1 billion drams, the Central Bank of Armenia said in a statement posted on its official website.

At the same time, the banks’ total assets grew to 2.345.7 trillion drams against 1.929.5 trillion drams from a year before. Also their overall obligations amounted to 1.961.9 trillion drams against 1.584.2 trillion drams in the first ten months of 2011.

The total capital of Armenian banks in the reporting period, when compared to the same period last year, increased by 11.1% to 383.8 billion drams. ($ 1 – 407.16 drams). -0-

The combined loan portfolio of 17 Armenia-based commercial banks upped  by 6.11% in Q2 2025 compared to Q1 2025, amounting to AMD 6.82 trillion, according to a ranking compiled by  the ARKA news agency.
