Armenia’s commercial banks purchased over $98.5 mln last week

YEREVAN, December 10. /ARKA/. Armenian commercial banks purchased over $98.5 million at an average weighted rate  of 406.25 drams per $1 from 3 to 7 December in intra-banking market of foreign currency, the press service of Armenia’s Central Bank reports on Monday.

At the same period, the banks obtained nearly 8 million euros and over 830.9 million rubles at average weighted rates of  529.51 drams per €1 and 13.05 drams per 1 ruble respectively.
The banks sold nearly  $$114.6 million, nearly €13.5 million and about 122.3 million rubles at average weighted rates of 407.24, 532.9 and 13.25 drams respectively.

Moreover, from November 26 to December 2 the volume of AMD loans provided by the Armenian banks totaled  41.8 billion drams, and USD loans- $68.5 million. ($1 – 407.24 drams). —
