Areximbank – Gasprombank Group to offer transfers via AVERS and coinstar money transfer

YEREVAN, December 21. /ARKA/. Areximbank – Gasprombank Group has been authorized by the Central Bank of Armenia to carry out international money transfers for clients via AVERS (Ukraine) and COINSTAR MONEY TRANSFER (Great Britain) systems, the bank’s press service told ARKA Agency.

According to the report, money can be transferred to the near-abroad and far-abroad in Russian rubles, US dollars and euros.

Areximbank – Gasprombank Group is currently offering money transfers via “MONEYGRAM”, “ANELIK”, “CONTACT”, “BISTRAYA POCHTA”, “UNISTREAM” and “BLIZKO”, as well as individual transfers from Russia to Armenia “Gasprom express” with no need for opening an account, says the report.

Amount of money transferred by individuals through the bank via various transfer systems grew by 42% to about $16,634,878 in 2012, as compared to $11,736,063 in 2011.

Number of transfers also increased in the first 10 months – from 18,590 in 2011 to 27,006 in 2012 for transfers via systems and from 28,235 to 38,429 in general.
