3.6% inflation recorded in Armenia in November

YEREVAN, December 21. /ARKA/. An inflation rate of 3.6% was recorded in Armenia in November against the same month of 2011, the country’s national statistical service reported.

In the reporting month, consumer prices rose by 1.4% compared to October and by 2.5% compared to November 2011.

Economic activity grew by 5.5% in November 2012 against November 2011. Yet, economic activity dropped by 6.7% compared to the month before. Some 7.1% increase was recorded in economic activity in January-November, as compared to the same period of the year before.
Under the state budget, inflation is projected at 4% (±1.5%) and GDP growth at 4.2% for 2012. -0-
