Gold price in Armenia falls by 2.4% to AMD 16,935.65

YEREVAN, May 29./ARKA/. As of May 29, gold can be bought at 16,935.65 drams (lower by 2.4% or 407.28 drams from a week earlier) and sold at  18,408.31 (lower by 442.7 drams).

The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, has set new prices for government agencies to buy and sell precious stones and metals which are effective for this week. The new prices are for one gram of chemically pure metals.

Silver is to be bought at 273.99 drams (-9.24) and sold at 297.81 drams (-10.05); platinum is to be bought at 17,925.34 drams (-388.55) and sold at 19,484.07 drams (-422.33); palladium is to be bought at 9,086.86 drams (+179.37) and sold at 9,877.02 drams (+197.97). ($1 – 416.47 drams). -0-
