Gold price in Armenia down 1.5 percent to 17,196 drams

YEREVAN, June 3. / ARKA /. The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, has set new prices for government agencies to buy and sell precious stones and metals which are effective for this week. The new prices are for one gram of chemically pure metals.

Gold is to be bought at 17,196.14 drams (down 1.5  percent or 260.49 drams) from the previous week and sold at 18,4691.46 drams  (down by  283.15 drams). Silver is to be bought at 277.52 drams (+3.53), and sold at 301.65 drams (+3.84); platinum is to be bought at  17,998.37 drams (+73.03) and sold at 19,563.45 drams (+79.38); palladium is to be bought at 9,204.54 drams (+117.68) and sold at 10,004.94 drams (+127.92).($1 – 416.47 drams). -0-
