Armenia’s Converse Bank to sponsor participation of Armenian chess players in quick and blitz Chess World Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk

YERERVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Converse Bank will sponsor participation of Armenian chess players Vladimir Hakobyan, Gabriel Sargsyan and Ashot Nadanyan in the quick and blitz chess world championship than will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk from June 6 to 10, the bank’s press office told ARKA News Agency.

Sponsor certificates were handed on June 3 in the Converse Bank’s head office.
The bank wished the Armenian participants of this tournament success.
Converse Bank was registered on December 20, 1993.

In February 2007, Eduardo Eurnekian, Argentine entrepreneur of Armenian descent, bought 95% of the bank’s shares.

The remaining 5% belong to Armenian Apostolic Church. —0—
