First half inflation ups 4.1 percent year-on-year

YEREVAN, July 19. / ARKA /. The first half inflation in Armenia rose by 4.1% from the year before, the National Statistical Service said today. Compared to 2012 June it increased by 6.5%, it said.

Armenia’s economic activity index in January-June increased by 4.4% compared to the same period in 2012. The government’s inflation projection for this year is t 4% (± 1.5%), while GDP growth projection is 6.2%. -0
