Moody’s changes U.S. rating from “Negative” to “Stable”

YEREVAN, July 19./ARKA/. Moody’s reviewed U.S. credit rating up from “negative” to “stable,” RIA Novosti reported referring to Reuters.

Moody’s downgraded credit rating of the USA to negative in August 2011. Early this year, Moody’s warned the U.S. economy might face downturn in sovereign credit rating.

However, on Friday the agency affirmed Aaa for the USA and reviewed its forecasts to “stable.” Moody’s said the measures taken by the U.S. government meet the requirements of the agency.—0-
