CIS Statistical Committee: 3.2-percent inflation in Armenia in Jan-July 2013

YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. Armenia’s year-on-year inflation stood at 3.2% in Jan-July 2013, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States reports.

Belarus was singled out for the fastest inflation in the Commonwealth and Armenia came third.
Russia faced 4.4% year-on-year inflation in Jan-July 2013, Kazakhstan 2.9%, Tajikistan 1.6%, Kyrgyzstan 1.2%, Azerbaijan 0.4% and Ukraine 0.1%, while Turkmenistan recorded 1.7% deflation.
In July, compared with June, consumer prices in Armenia rose 0.4% (month-on-month inflation in the CIS averaged 0.5% in July).

The highest in CIS increase of consumer prices was recorded in Belarus – 1.0%. Russia accounted for 0.8% price rise and Kazakhstan for 0.2%.

Consume prices in Moldova shed 1%, in Azerbaijan 0.7%, in Kyrgyzstan 0.3%, in Tajikistan 0.1% and in Ukraine 0.1%. —0—-
