Armenia-based Procredit Bank adds AMD 2.5 billion to its authorized capital

YEREVAN, October 1. /ARKA/. Armenia-based ProCredit Bank has built up its authorized capital by AMD 2.5 billion.

According to the information posted at the bank’s website, ProCredit Holding, the bank’s biggest shareholder whose share is 79.51% now, took part in the capital replenishment.

Shares of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and German’s KfW are 10.83% and 9.66% respectively.

Putting on record the ProCredit Bank’s fast growth in SME lending, its shareholders will continue contributing to the bank’s sustainable development, the reports says.

ProCredit Bank Executive Director Asmus Rotne was quoted at the website as saying that the bank’s latest achievement showed its clients’ appreciation of the bank-provided just, transparent and professional services. He said replenishment of the capital will enable the bank to serve a greater number of business clients.

The ProCredit Bank CJSC got its license from the Central Bank of Armenia on December 7, 2007. —0—-
