Loan portfolio of Armenian commercial banks’ branches in Karabakh reaches AMD 97091 million by Feb 1, 2014

YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/. The aggregate outstanding loan portfolio of Armenian commercial banks’ branches in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic reached AMD 97091 million by February 1, 2014 after growing 27.3% over one year and 17.2% over one month.

According to the Nagorno Karabakh Statitsical Service, loans extended in foreign currencies made up 57.3% of their aggregate loan portfolio in early February 2014, and the share of overdue loans here was 0.8%.

Deposits in Armenian commercial banks’ branches in Nagorno Karabakh totaled AMD 70478.4 million in early February 2014 after growing 39.1%, compared with early Feb 2013, and 26.1%, compared with the previous month.

Time deposits constituted 76.4% of the total deposits in the banks’ branches, demand deposits 17.5% and targeted deposits 6.1%. —-0—-
