Aggregate assets of Armenia’s banks reduce 0.74% to AMD 2 916.8 billion

YEREVAN, July 18. /ARKA/. Armenian banking sector’s total assets amounted to about AMD 2 916.8 billion by June 30, 2014 after shrinking 0.74% since the beginning of this year.

According to ARKA News Agency’s analysis, Ameriabank, with its AMD 342.8 billion and 8.8% six-month growth, retained its lead. The bank’s share in the aggregate assets was 11.75% by late June.

VTB Bank (Armenia), with its AMD 312.5 billion and 3.37% growth, came second in ARKA News Agency’s ranking.

Ardshininvestbank accounted for AMD 275.3 billion and 2.24% growth, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK for AMD 273.1 billion and 2.02% growth and HSBC Bank Armenia for AMD 245.6 billion and 1.53% decline.
