Armenia’s first half inflation up 4 percent

YEREVAN, July 21. / ARKA /. First half inflation in Armenia was 4 percent up from the same time span of 2013, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said today.

According to NSS data, consumer prices in June this year fell by 1.8 percent when compared with the previous month.

NSS said also the economic activity growth in January-June was 3.4 percent up from the year earlier.
The government’s projection of inflation for this year is 4% (± 1.5%). It also expects the GDP to grow by 5.2%. -0-
