Gold buying price up 1.8 percent in Armenia

YEREVAN, July 21. / ARKA /. The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, has set new prices for government agencies to buy and sell precious stones and metals which are effective for this week. The prices are for one gram of chemically pure metals.

Gold is to be bought at 15,719.28 drams (down 281.42 drams from the previous week) and sold at 17,086.17 drams (down 305.89 drams).

Silver is to be bought at 251.39 drams (down 4.41 drams) and sold at 273.25 drams (down 4.79 drams); platinum is to be bought at 17,945.12 drams (down 178.49 drams) and sold at 19,505.56 drams (down 194.02 drams); palladium is to be bought at 10,000 drams (up 47.32 drams) and sold at 11,438.22 drams (up 51.44 drams).
