AMD 76710.4 million in aggregate loan portfolio of Armenian banks’ branches in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in late October 2014

STEPANAKERT, October 7. /ARKA/. The aggregate loan portfolio of Armenian commercial banks’ branches in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic amounted to AMD 76710.4 million by the end of October 2014 after shrinking 1.7% over one year but growing 1%, compared with the previous month, the National Statistical Service of Nagorno-Karabakh republic reports.

According to the report, loans in foreign currencies made up 54.5% of the aggregate loan portfolio and overdue loans 1.2%.

Deposits attracted by the banks’ branches totaled AMD 54036.3 million in early October 2014 after growing 6.5% over one year but reducing 0.8% over one month.

The share of time deposits here was 72.1%, that of demand deposits was 19.4% and of targeted deposits 8.5%. –0–
